David E. Peterson, Esq.
Hello, and thank you for visiting this website. My name is Dave, and I am the founder of the Law Office of David E. Peterson, located in Beverly, Massachusetts and Burlington, Massachusetts. My practice focuses on Estate Planning and Trust and Estate Administration. What that really means is that I help people, families, and local businesses to plan for and respond to important events that touch all of our lives.
As an attorney, I meet with clients and listen to their concerns, with the goal of understanding them in their varied roles, in their families, in their careers, and in their communities. I strive to educate them about the vast array of legal opportunities at our disposal, which allow us to exceed our goals. And I aim to build lasting relationships, so that I can serve as a lifelong adviser.
I grew up in Leominster, Massachusetts, in a vibrant, Norman Rockwell-esque neighborhood. I attended college at the University of Massachusetts – Amherst, and graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Design in 2004. In 2008 I graduated from Boston College Law School, where my interest in trusts and estates began.
After law school, I worked for a sophisticated, boutique estate planning practice in Worcester, Massachusetts, where I was able to hone my skills at developing solutions for clients across every station in life. In 2010 I left Worcester to practice law in the North Shore region of the Commonwealth. In my career thus far, I have drafted hundreds of wills and trusts, administered numerous estates, and represented many family-owned companies in several phases of business.
In February of 2011, I opened The Law Office of David E. Peterson, in Danvers. Opening a new practice in a new area was a great challenge, and immensely satisfying. Fast forward seven years, and in 2018 I relocated the primary office to Beverly, and also opened a satellite office in Burlington. This allows me to offer a higher level of service to my clients, closer to where they live and work.
My family includes my amazing wife, Dan, our most-excellent son, Timothy, and our enchanting daughter, Kara. We live in Boxford, Massachusetts.
Thanks again for visiting. I hope that you enjoy the website and blog. I hope that you learn something new each time that you visit. And I hope that you will contact me if you have any questions, comments, advice, or if there is any way that I may be of service to you, your family, or your business.
